En canto a is ten un cento de significados e composicións posibles como é.

Pero prefiro neste caso is2, prep. (Of time) ~ an, up to, ago. Ata, hai...

Así que Goris ou ben é caloroso, quente (o lugar de Goris) ou ben un lugar que florece, eclosiona no tempo de cría e incubación, quizais na primavera.

Tamén é apelido. Nas Jornadas Celtas de Portugal un relator apelidábase Goris. A miña tradución nese momento foi "é primavera",  "hai primavera", non literal, pero posible.
